Entry Level Business Analyst

We are looking for someone who wants to learn how to run ecommerce businesses. In this position, we will train you to do just that for your portfolio of clients. This position is perfect for someone with strong business acumen, exceptional client service, and an educational background in Economics, Statistics, Finance.

This role combines several different areas of internet marketing for our ecommerce retailers. Learn about Pay Per Click advertising, keyword research, Search Engine Optimization, inventory management/forecasting, and order processing for ecommerce clients. You will also have exposure to HTML and XML, and various other technical skills involved in this ever changing field of internet marketing. If you have the passion, drive to learn, love of business and are proficient in Excel, we will teach you the rest.

Produce key site performance reports and dashboards. Reports should include business context and insights into the data to be delivered to the business leads.
Make informed recommendations based on web metrics analysis.
Effectively respond to ad-hoc report and analysis requests from the Merchants, Brand Leadership, Site Optimization, and other key partners.
Proactively develop or enhance reports and analysis of site performance including advanced segmentation analysis. Include observations and business context to deliver actionable insights to business leads, not just data.
Track and analyze web site performance, trends, paths, and results of changes made to the websites to see how changes affected site conversion.
Periodically conduct deep dive analysis across multiple customer touchpoints such as email, paid search, natural search, banner ads, affiliates, etc., leveraging data from multiple sources: vendor reporting tools, web analytics tool, and legacy systems.
Work with the collective Site Optimization team and business partners to identify A/B testing opportunities and personalization efforts. Help analyze test results for deeper visitor behavior insights and recommendations.
Establish relationships with the key internal business leaders and become a trusted resource and provider of key analytics data.
Actively partner and develop effective relationships with related groups in the brand’s eCommerce management, eMarketing, Project Management, and IT to help facilitate and manage efforts across teams to turn insights into practice on the site.

 

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Good Communication skill (Written and verbal)
